- Amount of training / TA required May need to be adapted to an individual country's requirements. The time required depends on the number of sites that need to be assessed, and the numbers of teams who will be conducting assessments.

- Advantages Biggest advantage is that it can be used by sites themselves for continuous monitoring or by programs for assessment and evaluation. Other uses include: identification of sites that can be resources for others; selection of sites based on capacity, vision and activities rather than site type.
- Limitations Can be resource intensive, may require development of specific instruments that will collect the data in order to be aggregated and interpreted by this tool
